The Role of Multiple Intelligences Philosophy in Activating the Concepts of Strategic Vigilance - Descriptive and Analytical Research for the Opinions of A Sample of Managers Working in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals

Abstract

The research examined the multiple dimensions of intelligence as an independent variable with its eight sub-dimensions (social intelligence, natural intelligence, visual intelligence, logical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, musical intelligence, motor / sensory intelligence, personal/environmental intelligence) and ‫‪strategic vigilance as a variable dependent on its three sub-dimensions (commercial vigilance, competitive vigilance, technological vigilance). A sample of managers working in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals was chosen. The research relied on the opinions of the )30( managers. The research problem was diagnosed through field coexistence conducted by researchers in the ministry and lies in the weakness of the dimensions of ‫‪strategic vigilance, therefore it was suggested that the multiple dimensions of intelligence be contributed to addressing the weakness of strategic vigilance because the departments directors lack sufficient knowledge of the multiple dimensions of intelligence on the one hand and its close relationship to the strategic vigilance on the other. The research attempted to achieve a set of objectives, the most important of which are: describing the dimensions of the research variables and the extent of the contribution of the multiple intelligences in activating the dimensions of strategic vigilance and examining the correlation and impact between the search variables in the ministry. To achieve these goals, the research relied on the descriptive-analytical approach, and the researchers used the questionnaire in the practical aspect of the research, as well as research and studies that correlate to the topic of research in the theoretical part with reliance on (SPSS) program to examine and analyze the correlation hypotheses and the effect between the research variables. The research reached a set of conclusions through measuring and analyzing the hypotheses adopted by the research. The research also concluded with a set of recommendations that, if taken into consideration, could contribute to activating the dimensions of strategic vigilance.
