Abstract

The recent research includes two variables positive thinking and self-esteem where this research links these two variables and interest for enhancing the self-esteem through positive thinking. The research problem pictured in the poor levels of the student positive thinking which affected negatively on their self-Esteem and this one of reasons leads to the drop of their educational levels. The goal of this research to study the effect of Positive Thinking in Self-Esteem for sample of the third stage students in Banking and Financial Sciences Department at the College of Administration and Economic - University of Baghdad. The sample was (60) students out of the total (180) students. The questionnaire was used to collect research data and processing them by (SPSS v.25). The results of acceptance of the main hypothesis of the research showed there is statistically significant effect of positive thinking in self-esteem. The main recommendation is that the awareness among students urge them to positive thinking which positively affects their self-esteem.
