Abstract

Start of the Iraq critical period reflected in the growing demand for agricultural and food products as well as higher food prices in international markets and reduced the relative importance of the agricultural sector in the economic structure of Iraq has resulted in this topic worsening food shortages in Iraq and the increased reliance on external sources to feed the population and declining per capita Iraqi agricultural output as well as the deterioration of the proportion of agriculture in the area of GDP, has led to the deterioration of the value of agricultural output to decline in per capita GDPAnd continued the country suffers from food gap which is growing ever since the beginning of the nineties of the past century, has reached the peak of its greatness in the moment, and Pat finance food import heavy burden on the financial budgets of the state and drains a significant number of national income is moving towards overseas markets to meet the need for deepening food part .As a result, Iraq is one of the world's most Toreda of food at present, since the deterioration of self-sufficiency rates are a threat to food security, which is an essential component of national security.
