The PharmD Students’ Beliefs, Perceptions, and Challenges Regarding their First Year in the PharmD Program: A Qualitative Study

خلفية: يمكن أن تلعب معتقدات طلاب الصيدلة في مناهجهم الدراسية دورا حاسما في نجاح التعليم الطبي وإنشاء كفاءات صحية متخصصة.
الأهداف: تقييم معتقدات وتصورات وتحديات طلاب كلية الصيدلة - جامعة بغداد فارم- دي فيما يتعلق بسنتهم الأولى في برنامج فارمد المنشأ حديثا.
الطريقة: أجريت مقابلات متعمقة نوعية مع تقنيات التحقيق المرنة. باستخدام طريقة أخذ العينات الهادفة على عينة من طلاب السنة الرابعة في كلية الصيدلة بجامعة بغداد. تم استخدام نهج تحليل المحتوى الموضوعي لتحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها.
النتائج: تقدم أربعون بالمائة من برنامج الأدوية بطلب للحصول على البرنامج لأنهم اعتقدوا أنه سيعطيهم فرصة أفضل للعثور على وظيفة في المستقبل. اشتكى معظم المشاركين من صعوبة السنة الدراسية الأولى بسبب كثرة عدد الدروس التي اخذوها، والتي كانت أكبر تحد لهم. ذكر اثنان من المشاركين (13٪) أن الفوائد التي اخذوها من دروس السنة الأولى كانت ضئيلة ، في حين ذكر أربعون بالمائة (40٪) أن صعوبة الموضوعات مكنتهم من التكيف والدراسة بشكل أسرع وأكثر فعالية. ورأى ستة من المشاركين في البحث أن المعلومات التي تلقوها غير كافية. وعلاوة على ذلك ، أفاد أكثر من نصف المشاركين بأن الجزء العملي غير كاف. اقترح أكثر من نصف المشاركين تقليل الكيمياء العضوية لأنهم وجدوا أنها غير ضرورية. ستون بالمائة متفائلون بمستقبل الأدوية في العراق ويعتقدون أنها ستكون ناجحة إذا تم تنظيمها بشكل أفضل.
الخلاصة: على الرغم من أنهم واجهوا بعض الصعوبات خلال السنة الأولى من البرنامج ، إلا أن معظم المشاركين متفائلون بشأن مستقبل البرنامج في العراق ويعتقدون أنه سيكون ناجحا إذا تم تنظيمه بشكل أفضل.
